In the complex world of assisted reproduction, embryo cryopreservation plays a crucial role in optimizing treatments and ensuring the responsible management of biological material. With over 791,634 vitrified embryos stored in Spain, according to the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF), the need for efficient and transparent management has never been more evident.
To shed light on this landscape, REPROCopilot has launched a Sectoral Study on Embryo Cryopreservation in collaboration with private assisted reproduction clinics across the country. Our goal is to provide a detailed analysis of the current situation, identifying challenges and areas for improvement to ensure more efficient and patient-centered processes.
Why Is This Study Essential?
This analysis provides updated and relevant data on the most critical aspects of embryo cryopreservation, including:
✔ Storage volume and capacity of biobanks in assisted reproduction clinics.
✔ Operational costs and expenses associated with maintaining vitrified embryos.
✔ Economic impact of maintenance fees, delinquency rates, and payment models.
✔ Patient perception, satisfaction levels, and clinic-patient communication regarding cryopreservation.
The study will not only benefit participating clinics with personalized comparative reports, but it will also establish sector-wide metrics that will help improve efficiency and sustainability in embryo cryopreservation processes in Spain.
REPROCopilot’s Role in Embryo Cryopreservation
At REPROCopilot, our mission is to facilitate advanced embryo management in assisted reproduction clinics through specialized digital tools. Thanks to our technology, clinics can optimize biobank administration, reduce operational costs, and ensure effective communication with patients, enhancing their experience and trust in treatments.
As leaders of this study, we aim to continue driving innovation in cryopreservation and supporting industry professionals with solutions that transform the management of vitrified embryos in a safe, efficient, and ethical way.
Funding and Sponsors
This study has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of REPROCopilot, FIRST°, and Fertypharm, three entities committed to excellence in assisted reproduction. Their support enables us to develop cutting-edge tools and studies that drive continuous improvements in embryo cryopreservation management, ensuring safer and more efficient processes for clinics and patients alike.
How to Participate in the Study?
If you represent an assisted reproduction clinic and would like to access exclusive and comparative data on embryo cryopreservation management, there is still time to participate. Complete the registration form below: [Form Link].
📅 Data Collection Deadline: First quarter of 2025
